Flue box
Approved Document J, Combustion appliances and fuel storage systems, 2010 edition incorporating 2010, 2013 and 2022 amendments, defines a flue box as: ’…a factory made unit, usually made of metal, which is similar to a prefabricated appliance chamber except that it is designed to accommodate a gas burning appliance in conjunction with a factory-made chimney.’
